Programming Requirements

To program the Xhorse XSBMM0GL BMW motorcycle smart key, the following are required:

• Xhorse BMW Motorcycle OBD Key Learning License
  Required for enabling OBD key learning on VVDI tools. Supports both 8A smart keys and 4D+ transponder key types. Compatible with VVDI2 Full and VVDI Key Tool Plus.

• BMW Motorcycle Smart Key (XM38): XHR49

Important Notes

• Transponder Chip:
  For 4D+ key types, a VVDI Super Chip is required.

• Region Locking:
  Some newer batches of Xhorse remotes may require region unlocking when used with the original VVDI Key Tool.
